The following changes to the Adkins PTA Bylaws have been recommended by the review committee and approved by the executive board at the Adkins PTA October board meeting.
These changes are required to be posted for at least 30 days prior to the next general membership meeting, scheduled for December 14th.
At that time, we will recommend that the membership motions to approve the changes to go into effect once approved by Texas PTA and for next school year.
Current:
Membership cost for Member 1 = $15.00 (includes local dues, state dues, and national dues)
Proposed:
Membership cost for all members including Member 1 = $10.00 (includes local dues, state dues, and national dues)
Current:
2 Vice Presidents; First VP of Programs & Second VP of Fundraising
Proposed:
3 Vice Presidents; First VP of Programs, Second VP of Fundraising, and Third VP of Membership
